You have to get hit in battle for the pointers to show up and you have to view main menu and inventory and equipment for those pointers to show up. I tested quite a few things and they are working for me.

I took time to update the table for the latest update of this game here in 2022. I think I have everything working again, but let me know of issues. You have to re-equip something for changes to take effect. You must view the Equipment screen and you choose the character to edit. Exit and come back to the category and you should see the update. You have to view the category in your inventory (such as usable items) and then you can hit the option to add all those items. I found Infinite MP In Battle and Infinite Item Usage In Battle or Set Item Amount Since no one has downloaded, I removed the initial file. I believe I have a God Mode option working. I came up with In Battle Pointers and you can freeze Chrono's HP that kind of works for Infinite HP. I was having trouble getting a regular Damage Modifier option to work.

The code seems different than regular games (maybe because of a port from Mobile platform). Only way to work around the issue is to use another streaming service that properly detects and hooks the FMV swapchain stuff when it occurs.I have a little something for Chrono Trigger Steam version. It would just result in those features not being available for use at all (aka you wouldn't be able to stream the game). The issue is an limitation in how the Steam Overlay and In-Home Streaming functionality works, and disabling those features wouldn't suddenly make those features work magically for the game. That said, "disabling" the Steam Overlay wouldn't fix the issue either. The core of the Steam Overlay (hooking the swapchain of the game, allowing In-Home Streaming to work etc) is still there and doing its stuff in the background. All toggling that checkbox does is disable the interactivity of it and a few of its features. You can't actually fully disable the Steam Overlay through the Steam client. Simply put the In-Home Streaming feature does not hook the swapchain the FMVs are played in. If it happens through the In-Home Streaming then it doesn't matter whether you "disabled" the Steam Overlay or not. I have Steam Overlay turned completely off from global settings, and I'm still getting black screen on the opening FMV. Originally posted by Thurhame:It can't just be Steam Overlay.
